We are seeking a Senior Compensation Consultant to support a high-profile healthcare medical provider. THis is a 6-month contract (with likely extension and potential to convert to full-time). This role offers 97% remote flexibility, with minimal onsite presence required in Pasadena, CA (1–2 days per quarter). This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly visible role, collaborating with physician leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful compensation initiatives at one of the nation’s premier healthcare organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and lead physician workgroups on compensation-related initiatives
- Create impactful presentations in PowerPoint using data sets from Excel
- Collaborate with physician leaders and multiple departments to support compensation proposals
- Partner with management on HR programs including compensation, workforce planning, and organizational change
- Provide consultative guidance on employee relations, retention, staffing, organizational design, and other HR needs
- Coach and influence leaders to strengthen managerial and team capabilities
- Support performance management practices and cultural change initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years of HR compensation, total rewards, or analyst-related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in at least 5 of the following areas: Change leadership, Organizational design, Leadership and team development, Compensation management, Employee relations and investigations, Legal and regulatory HR compliance
- Strong consultative, communication, and facilitation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with leadership and cross-functional partners
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (advanced data analysis and presentation skills)
- Excel modeling and dashboard experience preferred
- Experience with PeopleSoft preferred
- Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
