About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Accounting Consultant to support the finance team during a key transition period. This contract role will provide hands-on accounting support across multiple areas of the general ledger and assist with completing an ongoing inventory project. The position offers a mix of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting for areas such as cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, intangible assets, equity, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Maintain detailed schedules, including ASC 842 lease accounting workbooks and related journal entries.
- Assist with month-end close, financial reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the Controller and cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables and alignment with company objectives.
- Work proactively to identify process improvements and streamline accounting operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Prior experience in public accounting or with a publicly traded company preferred.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems; SAP proficiency preferred.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting principles, and SOX compliance.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Proven ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and manage multiple priorities.
- Semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry experience a plus.
- CPA designation preferred but not required.
