Required Skills
- Enterprise / corporate FP&A leadership (beyond a single business unit or subsidiary)
- Strong planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reforecasting capabilities
- Consolidation experience across multiple business units and geographies
- Executive-level storytelling: ability to translate performance and drivers into clear narratives
- Advanced financial modeling (scenario planning, strategic initiatives, investments, etc.)
- Experience supporting a CFO and preparing Board-ready materials and presentations
- Strong governance mindset (accuracy, timeliness, controls, and process discipline)
Nice to Have Skills
- Investor Relations exposure (earnings materials, messaging, external-facing analysis)
- Experience in a company undergoing transformation, separation, or major change
- Systems implementation / modernization experience (e.g., OneStream, Oracle Fusion, Workday)
- Industrial distribution and/or manufacturing industry background
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA a plus)
- 10 years of progressive finance/accounting experience
- 4 years of people leadership experience (mentoring, coaching, performance management)
- Public company or private equity-backed environment with senior leadership exposure
- Background in large, complex organizations (ideally $1B revenue)
Other Requirements
- Ability to work a hybrid onsite schedule (Birmingham or Atlanta)
- Must be comfortable in a highly visible role supporting executive leadership and Board-level reporting

- Compensation: $175K–$200K base (bonus eligible). Relocation support available if needed.
