What are the responsibilities and job description for the Minibar Attendant position at The Huntley Hotel?
Job description
- Inventories guest room refreshment centers (minibar) to determine consumption by guest
- Replenishes refreshment/food consumed
- Inspect minibar for spoiled food and beverage
- Cleans and maintains refreshment pantry appearance to established standards
- Removes consumed amenity items and/or room service trays from guest rooms
- Completes DND/No Service, inventory and in-house guest list paperwork
- Communicates discrepancies regarding refreshment pantry usage to captain
- Restocks and rotates refreshment pantry attendant cart supplies
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One plus years experience as Food Service /Room Service Attendant in quality food service/hotel operation
- Thorough knowledge of quality food service techniques and standards
- Exceptional guest service attitude and abilities
- Ability to lift, carry, and push carts weighting 35 pounds
- Ability to bend and walk for long periods at a time
- Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
