The laundry attendant manages the finishing processes for all laundry materials including towel folding, pressing, finish folding and hand folding. This role is critical to maintaining the luxury standard and reputation of The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa while upholding the highest levels of discretion and professionalism.

The laundry attendant manages the finishing processes for all laundry materials including towel folding, pressing, finish folding and hand folding. This role is critical to maintaining the luxury standard and reputation of The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa while upholding the highest levels of discretion and professionalism.
Essential Job Functions
- Attendant is respectful and cooperative with team members.
- Attendant is knowledgeable about finishing processes for club towels, pool towels, room linens, room terry, Spa linens and food and beverage linens.
- Operates towel folding equipment and makes finish folds on all terry items.
- Operates both sides of the pressing equipment, both feeding linens in to be pressed and receiving pressed linen to be finish folded and loaded into carts for transport.
- Fold articles of clothing from locker room bags and ensure that items are accurately returned.
- Must maintain work areas to provide a clean and sanitary environment for processed linens.
- Other duties as assigned
