Housekeeping Inspector
Pay: Starting at $20.63/hour

Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisors / Accommodations Management
Position Summary
The Housekeeping Inspector ensures that all guest rooms meet The Homestead’s high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and readiness. This role is critical in delivering consistent, high-quality guest experiences through detailed inspections and strong communication with housekeeping staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect guest rooms after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met
- Verify rooms are fully cleaned, stocked, and guest-ready prior to check-in
- Identify and document deficiencies; communicate corrections clearly to housekeeping staff
- Re-inspect rooms as needed to ensure completion of standards
- Support room readiness goals
- Assist Supervisors in tracking daily productivity and room status
- Report maintenance issues promptly through work order system
- Ensure adherence to cleanliness, safety, and brand presentation standards
- Support training and coaching of housekeeping team members
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift throughout the shift
