Marketing & Proposal Manager
Join our client’s marketing and business development team as a Marketing & Proposal Manager—a pivotal, deadline-driven role where strong writing directly shapes how the firm communicates, qualifies, and wins. You’ll collaborate closely with senior marketing and new business pursuits leaders while helping move multiple RFQ/RFP opportunities forward, from first drafts through final polish. Compensation
$85,000.00–$95,000.00 (annual)
Bonus: Discretionary bonus potential, paid in March, based on company financial performance. Candidates are eligible for the employee bonus program as outlined in the offer letter.
Responsibilities
- Produce and refine proposal and qualification content, including RFQs, RFPs, and executive-ready documents
- Write and update proposal narratives, resumes, project descriptions, case studies, and related materials
- Edit and proofread client-facing and internal marketing/marketing pursuit documents to ensure quality and consistency
- Prepare support materials for interviews and presentations, including content readiness and visual/talking-point preparation
- Maintain marketing assets by contributing to content libraries, templates, and ongoing usability improvements
- Support marketing coordination across multiple initiatives, including website content updates and organization
- Contribute to thought leadership and social media content on an as-needed basis
- Collaborate with leadership to meet pursuit timelines with speed, clarity, and professionalism
Requirements
- BS/BA with concentration in marketing or graphic design (preferred)
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills (required)
- 2–5 years of experience in marketing, proposals, or professional services (preferred)
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, including layout, formatting, and visual consistency
- Experience with Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience in AEC or proposal-driven environments (preferred)
- Professional communication skills and the ability to work confidently with managers in a high-pressure setting
