Finance Operations Associate

Compensation
$35.00/ hr ( Temp) $75,000 - $83,000 annually (Perm)
Responsibilities
- Monitor conditions precedent, negative covenants, and readiness indicators across various facilities to ensure timely progress of financings.
- Liaise with internal teams to gather and validate borrowing representations and supporting documentation, facilitating prompt fundings.
- Maintain and organize trackers, data rooms, and document repositories, keeping all materials up-to-date and audit-ready.
- Assist with preparing certifications, insurance documentation, and compliance-related deliverables, including those tied to tax credits or IRA requirements.
- Collaborate with Legal and outside counsel to manage notices, estoppels, waivers, collateral assignments, and custodial reporting packages.
- Review tranche and contract documentation, track recurring deliverables, and prepare lender-facing reports for applicable portfolios.
- Identify potential risks early, facilitate issue resolution, and communicate clear status updates on financing milestones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Legal Studies, or a comparable field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional attention to detail with experience handling large volumes of documentation and compliance materials.
- Proven skill in coordinating efforts across various internal teams and external partners such as lenders and legal counsel.
- Proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, ShareFile, and document management systems; familiarity with Salesforce, Sigma, or BI tools is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities, with the ability to effectively summarize risks and updates.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and complex financing structures.
Nice-to-Have Background
- Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or asset-backed finance, including construction debt, tax equity, or real estate transactions.
- Knowledge of IRA or ITC tax incentives, domestic content, energy communities, or compliance with wage and apprenticeship standards.
- Familiarity with labor compliance documentation, insurance certificates, and real estate or title packages related to financing or major transactions.
