🧮 What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage day-to-day corporate accounting, including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Support accounting and financial operations for software/tech-focused investment funds
- Assist with capital calls, distributions, partner allocations, and fund-level reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for both corporate and fund entities
- Collaborate with deal teams on transaction support, valuations, and portfolio monitoring
- Partner with external auditors, tax teams, and administrators to ensure compliance
- Improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting workflows as the firm scales
- Provide insights that help leadership understand fund performance and investment impact
🎯 What You Bring
- 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in private equity, venture capital, or investment management
- Hands-on experience with software or technology-focused investment funds (internal or at a fund admin) preferred, not required
- Strong understanding of GAAP, fund structures, and financial reporting
- Working knowledge of capital account statements, waterfalls, or fund allocations
- Proficiency in Excel and financial systems; bonus points for familiarity with investment accounting software
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent communicator who can collaborate with both finance professionals and investment teams
