We’re partnering with a growing company looking for an Inventory & Cost Accounting Manager who knows manufacturing or construction environments like the back of their Excel workbook.
This is not a “keep the seat warm” accounting role.
They need someone who can:
- Build inventory & manufacturing accounting processes from scratch
- Own standard costing, variance analysis, inventory controls & ERP workflows
- Partner with Ops, Supply Chain & Procurement without needing a translator
- Spot inventory issues before they become “fun surprises” during close
Ideal background:
- 6–10 years in cost/inventory accounting
- Manufacturing and/or construction experience
- ERP implementation exposure (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics, etc.)
- Strong process improvement mindset
- CPA/CMA = bonus points
Translation:
They want someone who can survive month-end close and a factory walkthrough in the same week.
