Our client is seeking a hands-on Lead Manufacturing Engineer to support the launch of a new precision machining and forming production cell. This role will lead processes from concept through full-scale production, ensuring quality, efficiency, and successful program delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead manufacturing strategy and process development for new product launches
- Design and optimize production processes, cycle times, and work instructions
- Define and implement capital equipment, working closely with suppliers on build, validation, and installation
- Support hands-on engineering including CNC programming, tooling, and troubleshooting
- Drive equipment ramp-up, PPAP, and transition to high-volume production
- Establish standard work, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with operations, quality, and leadership to meet timing and cost targets
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- 8 years of manufacturing engineering experience in machining environments
- Experience with bearing manufacturing or related components required
- Strong background in CNC programming, tooling, and process development
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T; NX experience preferred
- Hands-on problem solver with strong analytical and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Salary : $110,000 - $150,000
