Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus, provide recommendations, and answer any questions regarding food and beverage selections.
- Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and timely service.
- Process payments accurately through cash handling or cashiering duties.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Assist with hosting duties as needed, ensuring smooth guest flow within the restaurant.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
- Familiarity with Toast is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for accurate order taking and cash handling.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is essential.
