Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Square
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Square
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking seamlessly
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
- Previous experience with host/hostess duties or serving in high-volume venues is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales transactions
- Knowledge of food industry terminology related to food preparation, upselling techniques, and guest services
