Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or portioning items under supervision.
- Support catering and banquet events by preparing ingredients and ensuring timely setup.
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, counters, and storage spaces, following health and safety standards.
- Help with food handling procedures to ensure proper storage and sanitation of ingredients.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service times.
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, cleaning chemicals, and equipment use.
Skills
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail when cleaning and handling food items.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
