Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and removing trash as needed.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as required to support kitchen staff during peak hours.
- Ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning to maintain an organized workspace.
- Follow all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe kitchen environment.
- Help with inventory management by reporting any broken or damaged items promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment or food service is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
