Overview
We are looking for a server to join our team. As a server here, you will be part of a team that represents our establishment, creating a smooth dining experience for our guests through excellent service and attentive attitude. This role is perfect for someone serious about hospitality, with a knack for multitasking and a genuine desire to make money.
You must be experienced in food and beverage service with ideally six or more years experience. Three industry references a must to be considered for this position. Ideal candidates will have industry experience predating the pandemic.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen. You will need to learn our system and retain the knowledge to efficiently and properly use our system perform this job.
- Serve food, beverages, and cocktails with professionalism, including spirits and wine.
- Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing, while maintaining accountability.
- Upsell menu items such as specialty drinks or desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional guest relations by responding promptly to inquiries, accommodating special requests whenever possible without weeding the kitchen, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
Skills
- Must work well with others in a team minded atmosphere. We are a small crew that supports one another during busy dinner services.
- Efficiency with POS systems a must.
- Previous food service or restaurant experience in fast-casual settings is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills combined with good math skills for handling bills and processing transactions smoothly.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, allergen awareness, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- A friendly attitude with a focus on guest service, hospitality, and building positive guest relationships.

Pay: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour
