Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all resort facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems.
  • Ensure the resort’s facilities meet health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a maintenance engineer or similar role, preferably in the hospitality or resort industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects.
  • Relevant certifications or licenses in maintenance, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC are preferred.
