Hotel Maintenance Technician

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Maintenance Technician, where your skills will ensure our property remains safe, functional, and welcoming for all guests and staff. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of hotel facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring minimal disruption
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, fixtures, and appliances as needed
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces and special projects as required
• Conduct preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan of hotel assets
• Wall repair / painting, mudding etc
• Minor electrical knowledge
• Plumbing knowledge
• Pool knowledge a plus. (willing to send to pool school if necessary)
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a similar role
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general carpentry systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks
• Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., HVAC, electrical) are a plus
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• This position is on your feet all day
• Clean driving record a plus but not necessary
• MUST have reliable transportation
