Sales Merchandiser

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Sales Merchandiser to join our dynamic retail team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing product displays, managing inventory levels, and ensuring the store environment is inviting and organized. Your proactive approach will help drive sales, enhance customer experience, and promote brand consistency across all merchandising efforts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in retail sales, visual design, and store management while contributing to a vibrant shopping environment. This position does include an automobile and fuel card.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement attractive planograms and schematics to optimize product placement and maximize sales potential.
• Manage stock levels through effective inventory control, stocking, and merchandising techniques to ensure product availability.
• Utilize Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to create compelling visual displays and promotional materials that align with branding standards.
• Assist with remodeling projects, interior design updates, and store layout improvements to keep the store fresh and engaging.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, offering product recommendations, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
• Oversee POS (Point of Sale) operations, including cash handling, cashiering, pricing adjustments, and retail math calculations for accurate transactions.
• Lead training and development initiatives for team members on merchandising standards, store policies, and sales techniques.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the store environment by managing cleaning routines and maintaining visual standards.
• Collaborate with store management on promotional strategies, pricing plans, and branding efforts to boost sales performance.
• Maintain detailed records of inventory movements, stock levels, and merchandising activities to support operational efficiency.

Experience

• Supervising experience in retail or merchandising environments is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for visual design projects.
• Knowledge of marketing principles and experience in retail sales or store management roles.
• Multilingual skills are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases effectively.
• Familiarity with schematics, planograms, interior design concepts, remodeling processes, and branding strategies.
• Proven ability to lead teams through training & development initiatives with excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management, stock control, and administrative tasks.

Pay: $14.50 - $15.00 per hour
