What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spanish Ministry Worship Leader position at THE GROVE COMMUNITY CHURCH?

The Spanish Ministry Worship Leader inspires the church to worship Jesus with all He has entrusted to us (our giftings, circumstances, trials and joys). By leading and emphasizing corporate worship, this role will encourage and equip the Spanish Ministry to make the Lord known in our community and around the world.
Reports to: Spanish Pastor
Works with: Spanish Ministry leadership and volunteers; Worship Arts staff
Works: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, salary
WEEKEND SERVICES– 55%
- Lead Spanish worship services, ensuring theological clarity and cultural relevance.
- Select songs that reflect biblical truth, The Grove’s worship DNA, and Hispanic congregational voice.
- Prepare and oversee worship flow, transitions, and team roles for Sunday services.
- Coordinate rehearsals, volunteer call times, sound checks, and post-service debriefs.
- Collaborate with Worship Arts and Production teams to align all elements of service production.
- Introduce new songs that serve the spiritual formation of multi-generational Hispanic congregation.
volunteer leadership, TRAINING & COMMUNITY BUILDINGS – 25%
- Develop a healthy, skilled, spiritually grounded worship family.
- Recruit, onboard, and schedule, worship volunteers.
- Conduct auditions for prospective volunteers and coordinate musical evaluations.
- Provide training in musicianship, vocal excellence, stage leadership, and spiritual formation.
- Maintain updated plans, resources, and arrangements in Planning Center.
- Mentor volunteers in biblical worship and personal devotion.
SPECIAL EVENTS & MINISTRY GATHERINGS – 10%
- Support Spanish Ministry seasonal celebrations and church-wide events, including:
- Posadas;
- Easter & Christmas services;
- Prayer & worship nights;
- Community outreach events; and
- Joint English/Spanish services where needed.
- Lead worship or assist teams as needed.
OTHER MINISTRY – 10%
- Cultivate intimacy with God and growth in Christ-like character through personal and corporate spiritual disciplines.
- Attend Spanish Ministry team meetings, Worship Arts meetings (as needed), church all-staff meetings, devotions, and trainings.
REQUIREMENT
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
