Duties
- Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system oversight
- Lead, motivate, and supervise retail sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service
- Coordinate employee orientation, training & development programs to enhance team performance
- Implement operational policies related to safety, cleanliness, and store standards while supervising shift management activities
Requirements
- Strong skills in negotiation, sales management, and customer service excellence
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for cash handling and sales calculations
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Demonstrated leadership in team management, training & development, and operational oversight
- Experience with merchandising, purchasing, pricing strategies, and inventory control procedures
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with strong organizational skills and time management capabilities
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail sales environments is advantageous
