Housekeeping / Dietary Aide – PRN

This position provides support to both our Housekeeping and Dietary departments based on facility needs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Dietary Responsibilities

• Assist with meal and snack preparation

• Serve meals and assist residents during meal service as needed

• Assist cooks with meal preparation

• Work in the dish room and maintain clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention guidelines

Housekeeping Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas

• Perform routine dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting

• Replenish paper products, soap, and housekeeping supplies

• Remove trash and handle soiled linens according to infection control procedures

• Follow all infection prevention, sanitation, and safety protocols

• Report maintenance concerns and safety hazards promptly

• Help maintain a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Compassionate, patient, and respectful when working with residents

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds

• Previous housekeeping, dietary, food service, healthcare, or long-term care experience preferred

• Commitment to providing excellent service to residents, families, visitors, and coworkers

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care facility, healthcare setting, housekeeping, or food service is a plus
