The Greens at Erwin is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our residents. We are currently seeking a dependable, caring, and safety-focused Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Transportation Aide to join our team full-time.

This is a great opportunity for a CNA who enjoys working with residents and wants a role that combines resident transportation with hands-on CNA care.

As a CNA Transportation Aide, you will help residents safely get to and from medical appointments, scheduled outings, and other activities. When transportation assistance is not needed, you will support our nursing team by providing CNA care within the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, scheduled outings, and activities

• Assist residents with safely entering and exiting facility transportation vehicles

• Ensure resident safety, dignity, and comfort throughout transportation

• Safely assist residents who use wheelchairs, walkers, or other mobility devices

• Operate facility vehicles in accordance with applicable Tennessee regulations, safety requirements, and facility policies

• Perform CNA duties as needed, including assistance with activities of daily living, mobility, transfers, toileting, and personal care

• Communicate professionally with residents, families, nursing staff, healthcare providers, and facility leadership

• Maintain the cleanliness and general appearance of facility transportation vehicles

• Complete routine vehicle safety checks and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns

• Maintain accurate documentation related to resident transportation and care

• Follow all facility policies, procedures, safety standards, and resident confidentiality requirements

Qualifications

• Current and active CNA certification in Tennessee

• Valid driver's license with F Endorsement

• Acceptable driving record

• Ability to safely operate facility transportation vehicles

• Ability to safely assist residents with transfers and mobility needs

• Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, senior care, or healthcare transportation is preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate, dependable, patient, and team-oriented

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and provide physical assistance as required by the position
