NEWLY-CREATED SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT ROLE --> WILL SIT IN WHITE PLAINS OFFICE
Responsibilities:
- Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts.
- Identify and implement basic tax planning strategies to help clients minimize liabilities.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary tax information and address routine tax-related inquiries.
- Research tax issues and stay informed on basic changes to tax legislation and regulations.
- Ensure timely filing of tax returns and adherence to quality standards.
- Assist clients with responding to tax notices and basic audit inquiries.
- Provide excellent client service through clear communication and responsiveness
Qualifications:
- 3 year of experience in tax planning, preparation, and advisory services within public accounting or financial advisory firms.
- Advanced proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Intuit QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, tax preparation platforms).
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
