Plato edifies our students, growing their appreciation of Greek heritage. We engage in our work by leveraging a powerful support system comprised of trained teaching staff, volunteers, parents, and friends as well as the community’s youth. Plato seeks to instill values of democracy and leadership by engaging its current students and alumni in service to their community, keeping the spirit of service, democracy, and civic engagement alive. Job Description

Will be responsible for planning and supervising age and developmentally-appropriate activities for a given group of children NYCHC
- 47.01 (n), under the supervision of an education director.
The Group Teacher shall have:
- New York State Teacher Certification NYCHC
- 47.13 (d)(1) OR
- Baccalaureate Degree in early childhood or related field and two years of supervised experience in a preschool program if currently employed in a permitted group child care service NYCHC
- 47.13 (d)(2) OR
- Approved Study Plan for staff who meet minimum requirements NYCHC
- 47.13 (d)(3)
