We’re Hiring: Junior Merchandise Planner – Swim

A prominent manufacturer of outerwear and swimwear is looking for a Junior Merchandise Planner to join its Swim Division. With expertise across innovative fabrics and a diverse portfolio spanning Ladies, Men's, and Kids divisions, the company continues to grow through strategic initiatives and brand development and is seeking talent to be part of that journey.
What You’ll Do:
• Analyze historical and current trends to shape business strategies
• Monitor inventory risks and opportunities, implementing corrective actions
• Manage chargebacks and markdown processes with cross-functional teams
• Reforecast weekly ladder plans by style
• Identify sales and profit opportunities and present actionable insights
• Partner with design teams by delivering trend and sales analysis
• Build production plans based on POS performance at SKU level
• Develop financial and unit assortment plans by customer and style
• Conduct weekly sales and inventory analysis to optimize performance
• Generate and interpret detailed reports to guide decision-making
What We’re Looking For:
• 3–4 years of experience in retail or merchandise planning
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field
• Experience with Retail Link, NuOrder, or SKYIT is a plus
