A full-service AmLaw 200 law firm is seeking a senior Bankruptcy attorney (Senior Associate or Partner level) for their Dallas office,
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience representing creditors and be comfortable handling cases from start to finish as lead counsel.
Responsibilities:
- Represent secured and unsecured creditors in all aspects of bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings.
- Primarily handle creditor-side litigation, with occasional representation of debtors in Chapter 11 proceedings.
- Manage cases from intake through resolution.
- Draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda; argue motions in court; attend depositions and hearings.
- Advise clients on bankruptcy strategy and recovery options.
Requirements:
- 8 years of experience in bankruptcy law, with a strong focus on creditor-side work.
- Proven ability to first-chair bankruptcy litigation and manage matters independently.
- Excellent legal writing, advocacy, and courtroom skills.
- Admission to practice in Texas.
Salary : $175,000 - $250,000
