Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Infant Teacher based in Peoria, AZ. The Infant Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lessons and activities designed to foster children's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth. The role involves supervising and engaging with infants, creating a nurturing and safe environment, and maintaining open communication with parents about their child’s progress. Collaboration with colleagues to maintain curriculum standards and ensure compliance with state and school policies is also expected.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development
- Ability to create age-appropriate lesson plans and engaging activities
- Strong communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues
- Experience in maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for infants
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage classroom routines effectively
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
- Must meet state educational and licensing requirements (CDA, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is a plus)
- Experience working in a child care or early education setting is highly desirable
