What You’ll Do
- This role will involve you training as a host in the restaurants and in the Spa, to fully understand what the restaurants, spa and programming are able to offer.
- Take and input reservations for the hotel's restaurants, bars, banquets, and spa.
- Field phone and email inquiries from guests and accommodate requests appropriately.
- Communicate with guests to recommend experiences based on their needs/preferences.
- Manage reservation systems and seating charts for all outlets to restaurants.
- Identify and maximize booking opportunities to drive venue revenue.
- Address and troubleshoot any reservation issues or modifications.
- Maintain updated availability calendars for all bookable offerings.
- Provide guests with booking confirmations and pre-arrival information.
- Assist with greeting and checking in guests upon arrival.
- Ability to gain comprehensive knowledge of the hotel, allowing for complete confidence in answering all questions related to the restaurants, spa and programming.
- Handle all guest inquiries, special request, menu related questions, itemized receipts, etc.
- Previous reservation or hospitality experience required
- Excellent phone presence and customer service skills
- Proficiency with reservation systems and databases
- Outstanding communication, organization, and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for delivering above-and-beyond service to guests
