Job Purpose:

The Gasparilla Inn has a full-time year-round position open for an exterior/interior painter.

We are looking for a skilled painter to paint the interior and exterior of structures, buildings and other surfaces.

Job Duties:

• Adheres to the Gasparilla Inn 4 Steps to Memorable Service.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Good communication skills.
• Detail orientated.
• Self-motivated.
• Knowledge of safety and injury procedures.
• Ability to develop good relationships with co-workers and guests.
• Equipment: Sanders, paint brushes, paint rollers, scrapers, wire brushes & sand paper
• Physical Requirements:
• Bending Twisting, kneeling, crouching, & crawling
• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Pushing / Pulling Yes
• Sitting Yes / Standing 90% of the time
• Voice / Speech- Ability to communicate
• Hearing Ability to communicate
• Vision Ability to see work area and do job accurately
• All other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions and Assignments:

To be present at all pre shift safety briefings. Use all PPE that is required for the job you are performing.

Required:

• We are looking for a skilled painter to paint the interior and exterior of structures, buildings and other surfaces.
• Must have experience in painting with various tools and in various heights and spaces while observing all safety measures. The ideal candidate will pay attention to detail in completing their duties.
• The candidate will also possess an aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns etc.)

Preferred:
