Job Purpose: |

The Host purpose is to greet and escort guests to tables in a prompt, professional and courteous manner while upholding the core values of The Gasparilla Inn & Club. The Host shall ensure the level of service provided to the guest is highly individualized and that each guest experiences the warmth and charm of The Gasparilla Inn & Club. |

Job Duties: |

a) Scheduled daily activities and in-house groups. b) Daily house count. c) Hotel extension numbers. e) Hours of operation of each outlet, ambiance, menu selections and price range. f) Features and services provided by the hotel.

Working Conditions and Assignments: |

|
This is a physically active position and individuals can expect to work in a variety of environments both indoors and outdoors. This position is also required to work during nights, weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements: • Bending – Twisting and kneeling • Lifting – up to 25 pounds • Pushing / Pulling – Yes • Sitting – Yes / Standing 90% of the time • Hand / Finger Dexterity – High degree of proficiency • Voice / Speech- Ability to communicate • Hearing – Ability to communicate • Vision – Ability to see work area and do job accurately • Ability to follow the safety policy |
