Position Overview
Are you a numbers-driven problem solver who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly? We want to hear from you! As our Accounts Receivable Specialist, you'll play a key role in the financial heartbeat of our company — managing cash applications, keeping our books tight, and building strong relationships with our customers. This is a high-impact role where your work truly matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Own daily cash applications and ensure every customer payment is posted accurately and on time
- Dig into payment discrepancies and resolve customer billing inquiries with confidence
- Stay on top of AR aging reports and proactively follow up on past due accounts
- Keep customer account records spotless in our ERP system
- Deliver sharp monthly AR reports and metrics that help leadership make great decisions
- Partner with our sales team to knock out customer payment issues fast
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field — or equivalent real-world experience
- 2-3 years of AR experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Solid skills in cash applications and payment processing
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills — you know your way around a spreadsheet
- A sharp eye for detail and the communication skills to back it up
