Details for the position are as follows:

• 12-month contract to start with the possibility of extension or conversion depending on performance and business needs
• Rate: $100-146 an hour

Job Description:

• The Associate Director, Global Medical Communications is a dynamic, strategic role within Global Medical Affairs that collaborates with cross-functional partners to oversee one or
• more disease areas / assets on a Global level Responsible for the strategic co-development and execution of medical communication plans encompassing tactics such as: core content, scientific communication platforms, HCP education, congress activities, digital initiatives, and communication planning
• Lead medical review of promotional and non-promotional materials
• Apply medical communications expertise and business acumen to further therapeutic area and global medical communication strategy
• Interface with cross-functional teams to provide scientific leadership and technical expertise across GI, contributing to launch and life-cycle management of a medical unit
• Lead and execute diverse medical communication tactics related to core content (e.g. slide decks), scientific communication platforms (SCP), HCP education (e.g. symposia), congress activities (e.g. medical booth), digital initiatives (e.g. webinars), and communication planning (e.g. integrated communications plans)
• Coordinate with the Group Lead to monitor performance of goals and delivery of medical
  
  

Required Skills:

• A medical or scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, RN, MS, etc) is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, preferably within a matrix structure and medical affairs roles (e.g. Medical Science Liaison, Medical Information, Medical Communications, Medical Education, Publications) for candidates with doctoral degree.
• Minimum 7 years experience in the biopharmaceutical industry for candidates with a master’s degree
