About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst to support high-volume, multi-state payroll operations. This role is fully onsite in Chaska, MN and requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll accurately and on time
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Manage off-cycle payments, adjustments, and final pay calculations
- Prepare and submit payroll filings and reports (e.g., W-2)
- Validate payroll data and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain and audit employee payroll records (taxes, benefits, direct deposits)
- Support payroll inquiries via ticketing system (employees, managers, HR)
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Minimum 5 years of payroll experience
- Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations
- Experience processing complex, multi-state payrolls (2-4 years)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Business OR equivalent experience
- Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, SAP, or Dayforce
- Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven ability to troubleshoot payroll issues and implement solutions
- Gain experience in a fast-moving payroll environment
- Work alongside cross-functional teams including HR and Finance
