Medical Editor – Promotional Content

Shift Information:

• Monday-Friday, 8:15am - 5:00pm, Fully Remote Position!
• Pay range starts at $48 /hr!
• 24 Month contract to start! This is a W2 Contract (No 1099/C2C), with a possibility of extension or conversion beyond the original duration based on performance & budget at that time.

Job Description:

• Position is primarily responsible for managing the editorial review and approval process for promotional and non-promotional materials, ensuring accuracy, clarity, consistency, and compliance prior to submission and regulatory review.
• Position will also be responsible for performing detailed proofreading, fact-checking against source data, annotating claims, coordinating workflows, facilitating review meetings, and collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to support content development and approval.
• Position will be in charge of maintaining approval systems and workflows, supporting regulatory submission processes, generating reports for process improvement, managing user access and training, and serving as a key point of contact for editorial quality and system optimization.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or science-related discipline or equivalent experience is required!
• Strong experience in medical editing, proofreading, and quality checking of pharmaceutical or healthcare content is required!
• Experience reviewing promotional or marketing materials within a regulated environment is required!
• Ability to perform fact-checking, ensure claim accuracy, and annotate references in alignment with industry standards is required!
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills (written and verbal) is required!
• Experience in regulatory, quality, or pharmaceutical industry environments is preferred!
• Familiarity with prescription drug advertising guidelines, promotional labeling, or AMA style editing is preferred!
