We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Demand Planner for a prominent client of ours. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Contribute to the demand management cycle within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process for assigned categories, supporting strategy and structural discussions.
- Partner closely with commercial and operational teams to strengthen cross-functional communication and support delivery of business KPIs across product families.
- Own the forecast compilation process, including the short-term weekly demand plan and the long-term forecast (3 months).
- Collaborate with the modeling team to generate and refine statistical forecasts.
- Actively participate in IBP/S&OP forums and manage inputs and outputs within the demand planning tool.
- Perform root-cause analysis to drive continuous improvement, addressing forecast error, bias, and key service issues, and communicate insights to leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or consumer packaged goods (CPG) environment, preferably within food or other shelf-life-constrained categories.
- Experience managing a high-SKU environment, owning hundreds of SKUs or equivalent complexity.
