About the Opportunity
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities while introducing prospective clients to The Fountain Group's workforce solutions. You will engage with hiring managers, procurement leaders, MSP stakeholders, and executive decision-makers to help organizations solve critical talent challenges. Supported by a highly experienced recruiting and delivery organization, you will have the resources needed to focus on developing relationships, creating opportunities, and closing business
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, prospecting, networking, referrals, email campaigns, and social selling.
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans focused on new client acquisition.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with hiring managers, department leaders, procurement teams, and workforce program managers.
- Present The Fountain Group's workforce solutions, including contingent staffing, project-based services, and Statement of Work (SOW) solutions.
- Identify client workforce challenges and develop customized talent strategies.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, pricing models, and service agreements.
- Negotiate contracts and close new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with recruiting and delivery teams to ensure successful client onboarding and ongoing partnership success.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline reporting.
- Achieve and exceed activity, revenue, and gross margin objectives.
Qualifications
Required
- 2 years of business development, staffing sales, or workforce solutions sales experience.
- Proven track record of generating new business through outbound prospecting and cold calling.
- Demonstrated success closing new client relationships.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and achieving revenue targets.
- Highly self-motivated with a competitive, growth-oriented mindset.
Preferred
- Experience selling contingent labor, MSP, VMS, RPO, or SOW solutions.
- Existing relationships within procurement, HR, talent acquisition, or workforce management organizations.
- Experience working within enterprise or Fortune 1000 environments.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
