Role Overview
The IT Support Specialist will serve as a key contact for all hardware, software, and workstation support needs. You will troubleshoot issues, prepare equipment for new hires, assist with mobile device management, and work closely with internal technology teams to maintain a secure, stable environment. Occasional travel to additional office sites will be required. Temporary Position W2
- Primary Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical assistance for staff and executives.
- Resolve issues involving key applications such as Microsoft 365, Teams, Zoom, Adobe tools, Box, Autodesk, and other commonly used business software.
- Set up, configure, and support laptops, desktops, tablets, and mobile devices (iOS/Android).
- Prepare workstations for new employee
- Perform and document system upgrades, device updates, and software installations.
- Track and maintain all incidents and support requests in ServiceNow.
- Monitor and update inventory records using Excel.
- Assist with ordering and receiving technology equipment.
- Work with the Operations team on Windows image updates, Azure-based laptop and phone management, mobile device setup via JAMF, and printer/scanner configuration.
- Partner with the Network team to troubleshoot connectivity issues, address Wi-Fi performance, handle port repairs, and support Cisco WebEx configurations.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity to apply security protocols, manage lost/stolen device controls, whitelist approved websites and vendors, and respond to potential security incidents.
- Set up and operate audio/visual technology for meetings, conferences, and in-office events.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years’ previous experience in technical support, help desk, or IT operations.
- Strong understanding of Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Zoom/Teams, and common business productivity tools.
- Familiarity with Azure, JAMF, imaging processes, and device management is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with executive-level users.
- Comfortable working on-site full-time and traveling locally when needed.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
