Job Summary
The role and function of a Financial Client Associate at Advocacy Wealth Management is to support a team of Financial Consultants who are responsible for providing fiduciary-level financial planning and investment services to our clients. A Financial Client Associate will also work directly with our clients as well as with internal and external partners to implement financial planning recommendations and solutions prepared by the Financial Consultant. A Financial Client Associate will learn the Advocacy Wealth, Forge Consulting, and Advocacy Trust planning process, services, systems, and procedures to leverage the expertise of the entire enterprise in service of our clients. This role requires a FINRA Series 65 license and a Life & Health insurance license or the ability to obtain both within six months of the date of hire.

- Support the Financial Consultant with the creation, design, delivery, and implementation of financial planning and investment services.
- Assist the Financial Consultant with a proper review of each client’s financial situation.
- Assist the Financial Consultant with gathering and preparing documents ahead of client meetings.
- Serve as the single point of contact for the Financial Consultant on all administrative aspects of client service.
- Coordinate internally to satisfy client actions and service client accounts.
- Coordinate and service client document requests.
- Schedule and document client meetings as requested by the Financial Consultant.
- Serve as client contact when Financial Consultant is out of the office.
- Serve as the single point of contact for the Financial Consultant on all operational aspects of client service.
- Track new account paperwork and the funding of new accounts.
- Prepare and submit account maintenance paperwork.
- Prepare and circulate client distribution requests.
- Maintain and update activity using the firm’s contact management system.
- Professionally handle incoming and outgoing client correspondence by properly communicating accurate information.
- Maintain a professional approach to service to include both internal and external clients.
- Research and recommend process updates as needed.
- Work diligently to learn the financial planning process as employed by Advocacy Wealth for our unique client base which consists primarily of injured plaintiffs who receive a lawsuit recovery.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate (2-year) degree or equivalent.
- Series 65 licensed (will be required to obtain within 6 months, if not).
- Life and Health Insurance licensed (will be required to obtain withing 6 months, if not).
- Experience working in a client service environment or experience working in financial services.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of time for client meetings.
- Detail orientated, strong math, and analytical skills.
- Good organization and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.
- Process oriented and can work with a team.
- Strong computer and software skills.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Less than 5% of the time, but occasional travel is necessary.
