Our client is a well-established design-build construction and real estate development firm with a strong presence across multiple states. The company delivers projects in Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, Education, and Multi-Family Housing markets.
They are seeking an experienced, dynamic Preconstruction Manager with a strong background in mechanical and electrical estimating to join their growing Preconstruction team.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Preconstruction Manager, you will:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantitative surveys, life cycle cost analyses, and value engineering studies of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems for institutional, commercial, and industrial facilities
- Support civil, architectural, and structural preconstruction services as needed
- Assist in developing CPM project schedules
- Create written scopes of work and detailed plan/specification reviews
- Conduct field inspections and coordinate project delivery
Qualifications:
- BS degree in a construction-related field (Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, etc.)
- 3–5 years of estimating experience in a construction environment
- Knowledge of Sage Estimating Software preferred
- Previous experience in estimating/project management preferred
- Experience preparing detailed energy modeling studies preferred
- LEED Accredited Professional preferred
- Primavera software scheduling experience a plus
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Valid driver’s license
