Role Summary
The Division Leader is responsible for developing and managing their own book of business, including client relationships, project delivery, and financial performance. Divisions are structured around client relationships rather than product type, allowing leaders to pursue opportunities across a diverse portfolio including hospitality, multifamily, and student housing.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, generating new business opportunities
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow a profitable division
- Lead all aspects of project delivery, from preconstruction through completion
- Oversee financial performance, including P&L responsibility for the division
- Collaborate with internal teams across estimating, operations, and leadership
- Recruit, mentor, and lead high-performing project teams
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Qualifications
- Proven track record in a senior leadership role within a general contracting environment
- Strong business development experience with an established client network
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale commercial construction projects
- Experience overseeing full project lifecycle and leading cross-functional teams
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale a business unit
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L performance
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $275,000
- Performance-based bonus tied to division sales and profitability
