Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Clinical-Stage Biotech | Remote (US-Focused)
The Fordy Group are partnered with a well-funded, clinical-stage biotechnology company developing a first-in-class therapeutic platform targeting inflammation and oxidative stress pathways across multiple high-value indications. With strong Phase 1 data, ongoing Phase 2 execution, and a successful Series B backed by leading life sciences investors, the company is entering a pivotal phase of US expansion and late-stage clinical and corporate development.
They are now seeking an exceptional Chief Financial Officer to lead the company’s financial strategy, capital markets execution, and fundraising agenda through its next stage of growth, including preparation for potential public markets entry. This is a predominantly remote role, working closely with US-based investors and the executive leadership team.
This is a highly strategic and externally facing leadership role, with responsibility for driving capital formation, IPO readiness, investor engagement, and long-term enterprise value creation during a significant period of clinical and commercial inflection.
Candidate Profile
- Proven CFO or senior finance leadership experience within biotechnology or life sciences (late-stage preferred)
- Strong track record of fundraising across multiple rounds, including crossover and pre-IPO financing
- Demonstrated experience taking multiple life sciences companies through IPO
- Extensive US venture capital and crossover investor network
- Deep understanding of biotech value creation and capital-intensive development environments
- Experience across both private and public markets strongly preferred
- MBA, CPA, or equivalent qualification advantageous but not essential
