What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Events Assistant position at The Ford Agency?
The Ford Agency is currently recruiting for a temporary part-time Events Assistant to join a national association as they prepare for a busy event season. They are specifically looking for candidates with excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills. This is a 4 month temporary assignment, 25 hours/week, and is available immediately. This is onsite Tuesday-Thursday.
Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate and plan event logistics
- Collaborate with events team to ensure a successful event
- Work with catering, IT and AV, and other vendors
- Prepare post-event data analysis and reports
- Maintain timely communications with internal and external teams
- Assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications Include:
- 1 years of meeting planning experience in a professional environment
- Strong internships will be considered
- Proficient in MS Office
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional communications skills
Compensation:
- $22/hr DOE
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
