The Role:
The Social Media Manager works directly alongside the CEO. The main objective is to grow the FFC audience on social media and attain new clients through social media outreach.
Your Background:
Knowledge and experience in the fashion industry and social media marketing. Experience with social media platforms.
Role Specifications:
This role requires about one hour per day of the work week (Mon-Fri). This equates to about 5 hours per week. This is a remote, unpaid internship that can be used to add to your professional portfolio or resume, and build industry skills.
The FFC also hosts or sponsors other fashion events. Event support / attendance may be requested.
Main Duties:
- Engage with FFC audience on social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Threads or TikTok) daily. You will not be required to create content. Engagement includes liking, commenting and messaging through the FFC social media accounts.
- Scout potential clients (emerging fashion designers) and message 5 new accounts daily.
- Directly report to the CEO daily with an email including which specific accounts you have reached out to.
