What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optician position at The Eye Clinic?
Optics Unlimited at The Eye Clinic is seeking an individual who is customer service oriented and who enjoys working one-on-one with people of all ages in a clinic setting.
Duties include: Direct patient assistance, appropriate selection, fitting and dispensing of prescription and non-prescription eye wear, along with additional responsibilities which include welcoming patients, entry of patient information, explanation of charges and insurance, verification of patient information using various computer-based tools, as well as fulfilling the daily operations of the clinic setting. The ideal candidate has experience in a professional/healthcare setting and that they can demonstrate necessary mathematical skills. Strong communication, both written and verbal and exceptional organizational skills are required. The candidate must demonstrate ability to set priorities, work independently, as well as, a team.
This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Saturday work rotation required from 8am-12pm, some travel to satellite offices.
