What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cannon Main Store - RPT Warehouse Worker - $20.61/hr - *Must be 21 position at The Exchange?
Under designated supervision, performs a variety of clerical and manual duties related to receiving and processing merchandise and supplies, to include record keeping, document preparation and selecting storage/shelving locations in the facility or stockroom, as appropriate.
- Ensures the proper receipt, verification and documentation of merchandise/supplies. As required, posts sell prices on documents. Records discrepancies or damaged shipments, initiates appropriate corrective action and completes necessary documentation.
- Signs receiving reports and other accountable documents and processes receipt through appropriate systems using a VDT/PC or other equipment.
- Processes damaged/defective merchandise returned for repair or replacement. Maintains records and takes follow-up action, as necessary.
- Completes various merchandising documents and reports, as required, either manually or by appropriate systems using VDT/PC or other equipment.
- As necessary, assembles and segregates merchandise (bicycles, grills, etc.) for delivery and prepares appropriate documentation.
- Assists in taking stock counts and official inventories.
- As required, may operate motor vehicles not to exceed 10,000 pounds gross vehicle weight. May operate forklift not to exceed 10,000 pounds lifting capacity.
- Maintains compliance with fire, safety, sanitation and security requirements within stockroom area. Actively communicates/promotes the benefits of the Military Star credit card to customers in order to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty. Performs other related duties as assigned.
