Position Summary:
A Chicago-based financial services firm is seeking a Trading Operations Manager to join their operations team. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role responsible for managing business initiatives, coordinating across internal teams, and supporting the operational needs of a fast-paced trading and finance environment. The ideal candidate has built a solid foundation in financial services and is ready to step into a role with broader organizational visibility and impact.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate business initiatives from scoping through completion, ensuring clear communication and accountability across stakeholders.
- Oversee onboarding processes for new business relationships, including counterparty onboarding, KYC, and related due diligence workflows.
- Partner with internal teams across operations, legal, compliance, risk, and technology to support new business activity.
- Maintain and develop external relationships with partners, vendors, and service providers.
- Identify process gaps and contribute to operational improvements across the business.
- Serve as a reliable point of contact for internal stakeholders on business and operational inquiries.
Qualifications:
- 3–6 years of experience in trading, financial services, or fintech — backgrounds in compliance, risk management, client services, onboarding, KYC, or business management are all relevant.
- Experience managing or contributing to onboarding workflows, including counterparty or client KYC processes.
- Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Effective communicator across all levels, with strong written and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with sharp attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with regulatory and operational frameworks within financial services.

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
