The Encompass Group is partnering with a leading manufacturer in the building materials and construction products industry to hire a Territory Sales Manager. This individual will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth within an assigned territory through strategic account management, new business development, and strong customer relationships.
This is a remote role that requires approximately 75% travel throughout the assigned territory. Candidates must be based in either the Nashville, TN or Atlanta, GA area. The ideal candidate enjoys being in the field, building relationships face-to-face, conducting job site visits, and working directly with customers across construction, roofing, and industrial markets.

Key Responsibilities:
• Drive territory revenue growth and achieve annual sales targets
• Develop and execute strategic territory sales plans
• Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities within construction, roofing, and industrial markets
• Manage and grow existing key accounts within the territory
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM activity
• Conduct job site visits, client presentations, and product demonstrations
• Build long-term relationships with contractors, distributors, roofing companies, and builders
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and pricing within the territory
• Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, operations, customer service, and marketing teams
• Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry meetings
• Educate clients on product applications, specifications, and best practices
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8–12 years of sales experience within manufacturing, construction, or related industries
• Strong understanding of B2B and channel sales models
• Proven ability to develop new business and manage key accounts
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience within spray foam insulation, chemicals, or building materials
• Knowledge of residential and commercial construction markets
• MBA or advanced business degree preferred
• Power BI experience is a plus
