Encompass is partnering with a boutique, entrepreneurial Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm in Frisco to identify a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) to join their growing team. The Opportunity
This is a mid-level Financial Planner role (3–5 years of experience) designed for someone who wants to grow into an advisory position over time. You will play a critical role in elevating the client experience and expanding the firm’s planning capabilities.
You’ll work directly with partners and take ownership of:
- Leading the financial planning process for new clients
- Supporting and maintaining existing client relationships
- Developing comprehensive financial plans and delivering actionable recommendations
- Participating in client meetings and presenting key planning insights
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and client experience
This role is ideal for someone who is not only analytical but also creative, client-facing, and forward-thinking.
Qualifications
- CFP designation required
- 3–5 years of financial planning experience (RIA, broker-dealer, or bank environment)
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to independently manage components of the planning process
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Creative mindset with a desire to improve systems and processes
Preferred (not required):
- Experience with planning and CRM tools such as eMoney, Holistiplan, or Wealthbox
