The Encompass Group is working with a purpose-driven design/build firm dedicated to serving
churches, ministries, schools, and faith-based organizations through innovative and mission-aligned design and construction solutions.
They are seeking a detail-oriented Project Architect to lead the technical development and documentation of projects from concept through construction. While creative collaboration is part of the process, this role places a strong emphasis on production efficiency, technical accuracy, and quality control of construction documents.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the production of architectural drawing sets with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and
constructability.
• Review, redline, and coordinate detailed construction documents across all project phases.
• Manage and enforce Revit production standards and workflows to ensure consistency and
quality.
• Oversee quality control processes, including plan reviews and code compliance checks.
• Draft, edit, and publish construction specifications.
• Coordinate closely with internal design, engineering, and construction teams, as well as
external consultants.
• Ensure that all documentation meets applicable building codes, zoning ordinances, and ADA
regulations.
• Participate in project scheduling and monitor deadlines to keep deliverables on track.
• Attend client meetings, including site visits when necessary.
Qualifications:
• Licensed Architect (or actively pursuing licensure) with a professional degree in Architecture.
• 5–8 years of experience in architectural production and construction documentation.
• Proven expertise in Revit (required), AutoCAD, and technical detailing.
• Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, and code compliance.
• Ability to manage complex drawing sets and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with faith-based, nonprofit, or institutional projects.
• Background in design/build project delivery methods.
